1955…Martin Processing started dyeing polyester to make carpet.

1960…3M was asked to make Hallmark’s silver anniversary’s card which led to the invention of window film. Madico helped  3M by laminating the silver film to paper stock.

1966…3M obtained a patent for window film. Madico manufactured the first window film. Three silver solar control films started to be sold (20%, 35% and 50%).

1968…Martin Processing was asked to dye polyester to produce colored films.

1977…Martin Processing launched the LLumar (to dye polyester) line of window films with CDF adhesive.
